Sen. Gillibrand pushing veterans benefits bill
Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand is set to introduce a bill to increase access to certain benefits for New York's veterans.
Right now, there are an estimated 1 million veterans here in New York, and 720,000 of them are not getting benefits through the Veterans Administration.
Sen. Gillibrand's bill would change that, by requiring all exiting service members to automatically be enrolled in VA care.
